Do I need an account?

No. There is no account and no login. You can start using the app right away.

Where is my data stored?

All your entries are stored locally on your device. My Inner Balance does not run a server and does not send your mood, energy, sleep, cycle, habit or supplement data anywhere.

How do I back up my data or move to a new phone?

Under Settings you can use “Export my data” to save a copy of your data as JSON. When you set up a new iPhone from an iCloud or device backup, your app data is carried over automatically. The current version does not re-import an exported copy back into the app.

How do I delete my data?

In Settings you have two options. “Clear tracking history” removes your mood, energy, sleep and cycle history while keeping your habit and supplement list. “Reset entire app” permanently removes everything and returns the app to its starting state.

When do insights appear?

Early observations and reflections show up after just a few days. The fuller personal insights appear once you have logged your mood on about ten days, so there is enough to notice a real pattern.

How do reminders work?

You can turn on an optional daily reminder in Settings and choose the time. The reminder is a local notification on your device — you can change or disable it anytime.

Can I turn off cycle tracking?

Yes. Cycle tracking is optional and can be enabled or disabled in Settings. Cycle phases shown in the app are estimates, not medical predictions.

Is this medical advice?

No. My Inner Balance is for personal reflection and wellbeing. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and the patterns it shows are associations in your own data, not proven causes. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
